Some fans are pointing out that there is some sort of a race between the two on which will come first. While that may sound beneficial for the entire Mass Effect community, it is not the case.
In a recent interview, Legendary Pictures’ CEO, Thomas Tull, revealed that the company has yet to start on the Mass Effect movie despite announcing its production a long time ago. The lad, who claims to be a fan of the gaming series, added that he refuses to screw things up and will take a highly cautious approach when producing the Mass Effect movie.
Tull explained that the Mass Effect series is so broad and sophisticated that it is challenging. The story itself is complex.
Nevertheless, the Mass Effect movie will mark the return of Commander Shepard, who has been retired by Bioware. He will be replaced by a brand new protagonist in a fresh adventure in Mass Effect 4.
