Back when Bioware first announced Mass Effect 4’s production, the huge fanbase jumps in excitement. However, there was a hot debate going on which involves the save transfer feature seen in the first Mass Effect trilogy.
On that discussion, the fans concluded that it will be omitted for Mass Effect 4. This is due to the game being based on the next-gen consoles. As such, transferring the save file from the Xbox 360 and PS3 to the Xbox One and the PS4 will face compatibility issues.
The fans might want to do some rethinking now as it may be possible to transfer the save file after all. A Chilean-based online retailer has apparently listed the Mass Effect Trilogy for the next-gen consoles on the website.
Bioware didn’t write it off as a hoax and even revealed that it is in their plans. The game developer teased that if the Mass Effect Trilogy for the Xbox One and PS4 arrives, it will be built with all the DLCs that have been released.
The timing of Mass Effect Trilogy is simply perfect as fans can take a refreshing journey of the Mass Effect universe just before getting Mass Effect 4. Who knows? They can just load their saved file in the future fourth sequel.
