Mass Effect 4 is the next major gaming title to come from Bioware and when it arrives, the game can be a great role-model for Bethesda’s Fallout 4. After all, rumours are claiming that Bethesda are out of ideas on how to turn Fallout 4 into a great gaming title like Fallout 3.
With Mass Effect 4 coming out, Bethesda can take some inspirations from the title and apply something similar in Fallout 4. Mass Effect 4 is packed with tons of features and Bethesda doesn’t have to get inspired from all of them. Instead, the game developer can just learn from the companionship system.
This is because companions in the Fallout series have been disappointing as the AI have little influence in the plotline. Furthermore, the AI simply tails the protagonist around before ending up getting killed in some battles.
If Mass Effect 4’s companionship model is to be applied on Fallout 4, players can enjoy an in-depth approach on getting to know their AI mates. Each companion will come with their own exclusive storyline and to make things even more realistic, players can also engage in an intimate relationship with their AI friends.
We are pretty sure that even Fallout fans would agree that the companionship model can help Fallout 4 become more enjoyable. There is already a lot of pressure on Bethesda to make Fallout 4 better than Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 4’s companionship system can be the solution.
