Disney announces that they were going to kill off the Marvel: Avengers Alliance game last year but most people were not shocked by the announcement. The sequel of the game did not do as well as Disney thought it would so it made sense that Disney would want to cancel off both these games but some people think that there might be more to it.
Since Avengers is all the rage now, the fans believe that Disney will not just give up on a Marvel Avengers game and not have a backup plan. Some people believe that Disney could be working on a new Avenger game but we will have to wait and see.
There were also speculations about Disney thinking about stepping away from producing games and focus on licensing them in the future. This was after Disney announce that they will be killing off the popular Disney Infiniti. Of course, there is no way of confirming that right now so we will have to wait and see.
