With the sucess they had with the first Watch Urbane smartwatch, LG will not be ready to give up on the smartwatch market that easily. The successor to the smartwatch, the LH Watch Urbane 2 was released last year but the device was pulled from the market just days after its was released.
It was later announced that LG will be canceling the device due to some hardware issue. They never really did explain what went wrong with the device but it was speculated that the device was canceled due to some issue with the display.
Those that pre-ordered the smartwatch were given a refund and that was the end of it. What a waste since it was going to be the first smartwatch with LTE. LG later announce that they plan to release the LG Watch Urbane 2 smartwatch once more in the middle of this year.
While the device will come with the same name, we have a feeling that it could be a new device and not a fixed version of the smartwatch.
