The LG Urbane 2 was shaping up to be the smartwatch to get in 2015. The smartwatch was supposed to be the first Android Wear smartwatch to offer LTE connection but things definitely did not turn out as planned.
Soon after the release of the LG Urbane 2, LG had to issue a recall for the smartphone due to some issues with the hardware. LG never really did clarify what the issue was.
It was initially thought that the stop sale was going to be a temporary thing only but LG later announce that they will be stopping the sales of the LG Urbane 2 smartwatch for good.
Customers that had pre-ordered the smartwatch was given a full refund and that was the end of the LG Urbane 2. Some people are still hoping that LG will be able to find a solution to the issue and re-release the LG Urbane 2 but we do not think that that will be happening.
