LG Nexus 5 & Nexus 7 Found Running Mysterious Android 4.4.3

The Android KitKat 4.4 OS was released late last year and it is dubbed to be the best that has come from Google yet. Of course, with every softwares and programs, there are bound to be glitches and bugs.

The KitKat now stands at 4.4.2 after getting two fixes sent to it. Now, a possible third update to the KitKat looks to get rolled out very soon.

This upcoming update 4.4.3 was spotted on a Nexus 5. The build number on the device is KTU65 which is a codename for the 4.4.3 OS. Also, the update will be created to address the issue with the cameras on affected devices. In detail, it will be the mm-qcamera-daemon bug.

The codename varies overtime. Following the KTU65, users have spotted the KTU72B, KTU83 and finally, the KTU79. XDA revealed that the first letter represents the release family, the second is a branch code and after that is the date code.

Looking at the KTU83, it means that the firmware is created on March 24. It won’t be long until the KitKat 4.4.3 OS gets roll out to fix all the affected devices.
