Thanks to the fact that it comes with a price tag that is low and some superb specs, the Google Nexus 5 has come out a winner. It has been able to compete very well with other handsets on the market, including the iPhone 5S, the Moto X and the HTC One.
Of course people know that when Google launch a Nexus handset it arrives with plenty of new features, so competitors do have to keep on their toes. It was a Nexus handset that brought NFC to the market and each new Nexus device brings with it something new.
When the Nexus 5 arrived on the scene it came with KitKat 4.4 and no other device offered this. KitKat 4.4 is lightweight and this allowed handset owners to enjoy a device that was faster and which offered better performance. The Nexus 5 also brought with it a better camera and processor, while the price tag of it is one that other phone makers cannot match.
MobileBurn put the Google Nexus 5 up against the HTC One, iPhone 5S, Moto X and the Samsung Galaxy S3 and not surprisingly it came out very well.
While the Nexus 5 is a good choice of handset, its design means that you are going to either fall in love with it or dislike it.
