The Android 5.0 Lollipop has finally been confirmed and it will be the next big thing to come from Google. The OS developer revealed on the I/O Conference that the Lollipop is the ideal replacement for the KitKat.
While no update roadmaps have been revealed yet, we can expect the Nexus 5 to be the first smartphone that will get the Lollipop. The doubt is with the much older Nexus 4. Will it get the Lollipop update?
Apparently, the answer is yes. The ‘L’ symbol which represents the Lollipop comes in different shape and sizes. It appears to resemble each Nexus device respectively. You can check the symbols out here.
Once done, come and view this image. It shows a particular L symbol running on the top-left corner of the screen. On that same image, one can simply tell that the resolution is 1280x768p. Obviously, this is the Nexus 4.
To be more certain, the background in that image is identical to this wallpaper. It is basically a Nexus 4-exclusive which confirms that the Lollipop is indeed coming to this device.
Another way to view it is through following Google’s action. The company recently removed Nexus 4 code’s webpage from its website. It is Google’s way of saying that it is doing some test on the Nexus 4. Without a doubt, it is the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
