It looks like LG will be bearing everybody to the Nougat finish line this year. Not only is their LG V20 the first Android smartphone to come running on the new Android 7.0 Nougat but their LG G5 will also be receiving the Nougat update as well.
The LG G5 users in Korea should be getting their Android 7.0 Nougat software update. The update has already been released but it might take a few days for it to reach all the LG G5 in Korea.
LG also added that LG G5 users in the other region will also be getting the update as well. No release date was given but they did say that the LG G5 in America, Asia, and another market will get the Nougat update in the weeks ahead.
The update will bring in a few new features including the new Multi-Window features, the upgraded Doze and LG highlights.
