LG became the centre of a buzz earlier today when they confirmed that the G4 will be powered by the Snapdragon 806 processor and this leaves many worried that the smartphone won’t be as powerful as the other flagship devices.
Yes, the Snapdragon 806 is not as powerful as the 810 since it comes with two fewer high-end cores but it is still great nonetheless. This is because most apps on the Play Store is tuned to comply with the basic requirements of average Android-powered smartphones. Hence, there is no need to have an over-the-top spec for the G4.
Of course, this would also mean that the G4 is behind in the benchmark tests but in real world performance, the smartphone will return better battery life and run cooler. After all, the Snapdragon 810 is prone to overheating and this is why LG has decided on the Snapdragon 806 instead.
