Last year, LG launched two great smartphones and they are the G3 and G Pro 2. Both devices are fairly cheap to own today but which should you go for?
If size is a factor, then the G Pro 2 is the larger device of the two. The smartphone features a 5.9” display that develops 373ppi but it is nowhere near as good as the G3. The latter is simply extraordinary as it is the first ever mainstream device to feature QHD resolution. As such, the G3’s 5.5” display is able to offer 534ppi.
Heck, the G3 is also a better performer is it runs on the newer 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The G Pro 2 is powered by the older 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB or RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.
In the field of photography, the G3 is still better despite coming with the same 13MP rear shooter and 2.1MP front camera that is on the G Pro 2. This is because the G3 has support for 4K video recording whereas the G Pro 2 does not. Obviously, the G3 is the better option and also the better purchase.
