It first occurred when the LG G became the base model for the Nexus 4. Last year, LG continued collaborating with Google by producing the Nexus 5 based on the LG G2. This year, things are expected to repeat itself as the Google Nexus 6 will look to mimic the upcoming LG G3.
If so, then the Nexus 6 is expected to run on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz or the octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. Of course, the latter seems likely as Google would want to be the pioneer of the 64-bit processor in the world of Android.
Many have already hinted the US tech giant to unveil the processor during this year’s Google I/O conference happening late in June next month.
There is also a chance for the Nexus 6 to feature a fingerprint scanner. The LG G3 is heavily rumoured to introduce such a feature and if so, it may just come to the Nexus 6 as well.
The LG G3 is expected to arrive before the end of June like how it predecessors did. If so, then the Nexus 6 will definitely stay parallel with its clone by repeating the same release date on November.
The Nexus 6’s arrival is imminent that even hackers have discovered its name being input in Chrome’s source codes.
