LG has never been sluggish whenever it comes to sending out an update. Just yesterday, the South Korean tech giant announced that the latest LG G3 is not far away from receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
The OS will be made available for the LG G3 in South Korea first before it starts exploring to other parts of the world. The update is also said to come out at the same time regardless of the carrier which the user is on.
LG Electronics CEO, Dr. Jong-Seok Park, made it clear that the Lollipop update for the G3 is the company’s upmost priority right now as it wishes to give customers the best mobile experience ever.
Well, that day has arrived. Earlier today, LG rolled out the Lollipop for the G3 over-the-air for South Korean users. Unfortunately, there has been no word on the global update. The closest information consumers ca refer to is from LG’s Claire Jang. The spokeswoman revealed that the specific period can hardly be confirmed at the moment.
Regardless, G3 users can expect it to happen before the New Year begins. After all, it is only logical to think that LG would want to take a nice holiday without having to worry on the work in hand
