It is never peaceful in South Korea as two of the biggest brands from the nation kept on challenging each other with their products. Today, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has found itself standing side-by-side with the LG G2 to see which Korea’s supreme smartphone is.
The Galaxy Note 2 is a much older device. It was produced to be a phablet which explains the huge 5.55” Super AMOLED display that produces 267ppi. This is easily beaten by the G2’s 5.2” LCD screen that offers a whopping 423ppi.
Under the casing, both devices run on a quad-core processor. The LG G2 is definitely faster as it runs on the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.2GHz with 2GB RAM. The Note 2 runs on the Exynos quad-core clocked at 1.6GHz with 2GB RAM. This is mediocre.
Even when it comes to camera, the G2 is ahead of the Note 2. The 13MP rear camera and the 2.1MP front shooter is equipped on the G2 to offer the ultimate photography experience. This is more than the 8MP rear camera and the 1.9MP rear shooter spotted on the Galaxy Note 2.
If there is one thing Samsung has done on the Note 2 that is better than the G2, it is the microSD card slot. The LG G2is limited to 32GB whereas the Note 2 can go up to 64GB.
All in all, both devices are great and with so little difference with their price tags, we would recommend getting the LG G2 instead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
