It offers the quad core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor which comes backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip, the Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It can run anything throw at it, from high end games to lifestyle apps and it offers an experience that is smooth.
The display is 4.95 inches with 445ppi and resolution at 1080 x 1920. It offers True HD IPS+ tech, which gives a superb multimedia experience with colours that are true to life and great contrast and brightness.
The 8MP camera comes with lots of features; however videos recorded are not the best we have seen for those who like 1080p and 30fps.
The Google Nexus 5 has the Li-Po 2300 mAh battery and it does offer pretty decent battery life. It can last 300 hours when in standby and around 8 for playback of video and 3 for 3D gaming.
The LG G2 came out just a couple of month before the Nexus 5 and it is a superb phone.
It offers style and comfort and at 5.45 x 2.79 x 0.35 inches it feels comfortable in the hands. It comes in at 143 grams it isn’t difficult to hold in the hand either.
It has the quad core 2.26 GHz Krait 400 processor along with the Qualcomm 800, 2GB of RAM and the Adreno 330. It has Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is going to get KitKat. It can also run anything that you can download from the markets.
The camera and display offer true to life colours and as it offers a larger display at 5.2 inches, the display offers 424ppi with resolution of 1080 x 1920.
The battery life of the LG G2 does happen to better than that of the Nexus 5 and this is non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh. You can enjoy around 5 hours of playing games, 9 hours of video playback and around 900 hours in standby and 17 hours of talk time.
The LG G2 offers a far better multimedia experience and the camera is perfect. Both handsets have different prices around the world but the Nexus 5 does happen to be one of the most perfect handsets running Android. It will all come down to how much you want to spend.
