LG G2 Takes First Lick At The Lollipop

It is certainly rewarding to be an LG G2 user right now as the smartphone is now able to run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. This is made possible thanks to XDA’s Rashed97 after the lad launched a custom ROM containing the OS for the LG G2 D800, D801, D802, LS980, and VS980 models.

With the custom ROM, G2 users can skip the wait for the official Lollipop release and enjoy the latest OS from Google right away. Then again, the custom ROM is still in its early built and there are some problems with it.

Rashed97 was kind enough to share that the problems are with the GPS and video playback functions. As for the LS980 and VS980 models, there is an added issue that involves the cellular network. On the upside of things, Rashed97 vows to fix the issues through updates in the future.

So if you are an LG G2 user and wish to enjoy the Android 5.0 Lollipop right now, then you can check out the following instructions.
