LG has finally step out of the dark to confirm that the old G2 is going to get updated to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, the confirmation was not made via any announcements but through a form called visual communication.
No, LG didn’t perform any sign languages if that is what you are thinking. Instead, LG demonstrated the Android 5.0 Lollipop design language through using an LG G2. So if the G2 is able to run on the Lollipop, then an update should be in the cards.
Of course, it is still up to LG to decide whether the G2 is worthy of receiving the Lollipop update. Even so, we still believe that the arrival of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the G2 is imminent since the device has yet to receive a ‘final update’.
