Come next week, LG is expected to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the G2. Well, most G2 users are not moved by it as they have been enjoying the latest OS all this while.
Apparently, this is thanks to XDA’s Rashed97, who have launched a custom ROM containing the Android 5.0 Lollipop last month. The ROM was built specifically for the LG G2 D800, D801, D802, LS980, and VS980 models.
Of course, there are some issues with the custom ROM since it is in its early build. Rashed97 was kind enough to share that both the GPS and the video playback are full of issues. As for the LS980 and VS980, both models have an added problem with the cellular network.
LG G2 users that have not update their smartphone can either choose to wait or apply the update today. If you are a G2 user and wish to enjoy the Lollipop now, then you can follow the guide below.
