Both LG and Google have shared a wonderful partnership. This is down to the fact that LG has been producing the Goolge Nexus 4 and 5. The latest Nexus 5 brought along the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
Following the Kitkat’s release, many phone vendors have been busy sorting out their smartphones and tablets on which devices will receive the update. LG is no different despite its collaboration with Google.
Today, the company will roll out the Kitkat to its LG G2 model. Of course, these is for the T-Mobile variant of the phone. It will be released over the air. T-Mobile users can go to Settings>General>About Phone>Update Centre>System Update>Check Now. This will prompt the update to commence.
As how it was revealed, the LG G2 will run much faster now. In specific, it will perform 17% faster than before. More importantly, battery life has improved tremendously.
At the moment, this is the only update released to the LG G2. Users on other carriers will have to wait a while more to receive their Kitkat.
