LG G Watch users have been complaining that the device is physically hurting their wrist. In detail, the POGO pins resting under the smartwatch are corrosive and can cause burns to the skin.
Now, LG has pushed out a small update that can solve the issue once and for all. The South Korean tech developer revealed that the update will disable the current when the G Watch is not in the charging dock. This will certainly prevent the corrosive residue on the POGO pins to build up and also, stop any future injuries.
LG concluded by apologizing to the G Watch users that are hurt by the corrosion. The update has been pushed out over the air and it will bring the firmware up to KMV78Y. With it comes the end of the corrosive issue.
