oyota have built a fair amount of pick-up trucks, from the Hilux for Asia to the Tocoma elsewhere over the world. The same can not be said for its premium brand Lexus though.
What could we expect to see if Lexus decided to follow the same road? Lets leave it to car design manipulator, Theophilus Chin to provide the first blueprint for us. Theo combines the body of a Toyota Tacoma with the front of a Lexus LX 57O.
He has given it the name Lexus LXT and it definitely has a fierce appearance. Be believe a lot of that is because of the massive spindle grille. The appearance of it combined with the long tray in the rear isn’t too bad though, however it would most likely look better with the protective front lip removed from it.
We do know now that the facelifted Lexus LX570 will soon be available on the Malaysian market and will be up against the equally-V8-powered Infiniti QX80. If this beast of a car was ever built, would it be something that you would be interested in?
