Toyota has been responsible for quite a number of pick-up trucks to date, ranging from the Hilux for Asia to the Tocoma for other areas around the world. However this can not be said for its premium brand, Lexus.
What would happen is Lexus chose to go down that same route? Lets allow car design manipulator, Theophilus Chin to create the first blueprint. Here Theo puts the entire front of a Lexus LX 57O onto the body of a Toyota Tacoma.
He named it the Lexus LXT and it certainly looks intense. We feel that some of that is definitely down to the huge spindle grille. When you look at it together with the long tray in the back it isn’t quite as overwhelming though and it would probably be better without that protective front lip.
Eeither way, we are now aware that the facelifted Lexus LX570 will be on its way to Malaysia in the near future to compete against the equally-V8-powered Infiniti QX80. Would you be interested if this moster of a vehicle was ever created?
