Toyota luxury-division, Lexus, has never failed to impress the world with its high-end vehicles. Just recently, the Japanese carmaker received so many thumbs up all-thanks to the NX. The mid-size SUV wowed the world as it comes with a futuristic design that is unique and different from its rivals.
Then again, the NX appears to be just the tip of the iceberg. Lexus is currently deciding on whether to should enter a new market segment, the mini-SUVs.
Lexus Europe Vice President, Alain Uyttenhoven, revealed that there is a possibility of a smaller Lexus SUV. While no details were revealed, Alain didn’t deny that it will be based on the NX and it is going to be smaller than ever.
If this is to come into production, we might see a downsized NX that will look to rival the likes of the BMW X1, Mercedes GLA and the Audi Q3. With the larger NX coming with a hybrid variant, we could see the smaller NX getting something similar as well.
