Turtle Rock were the tool of creation for Valve but now they have flown the nest from the father company and are an independent developer. This is the studio that is known for creating Left 4 Dead in 2008.
So as Turtle Rock is no longer with them, fans of the game are wondering who is going to be working on Left 4 Dead 3 and even if the game will happen.
However we know that it won’t be coming our way anytime soon as Phil Robb told us that the developer is looking to launch new IP, Evolve. It has been said that the game will be a lot like Left 4 Dead as gamers are going to have to work together to reach their goals and complete challenges.
Phil said that Evolve was the idea of Turtle Rock but that it didn’t come about due to Valves restrictions. Now that there has been the break up, Turtle Rock want to see the game come to life.
Phil also mentioned that the Left 4 Dead franchise is all done and that Turtle Rock are looking into other things. This news left many fans disappointed and it is looking as though Turtle Rock could have caught the not making trilogies bug.
However he didn’t deny that there would be a Left 4 Dead 3, so that at least is the good news.
