It is unfortunate that Hockney has left Valve recently. He was among the jewels of the gaming industry. It was revealed on his LinkedIn profile which states, “its time for a change, moving one”.
For 2 years he has served Valve and Hockney manage to accomplish so much during his short tenure with the game developer.
The departure of Hockney from Valve is certainly a major loss and put in doubts to the rumour on Left 4 Dead 3.
The lad is known to be working on L4D3 right before he left. Valve is going to have a hard time finding a replacement for Hockney.
