Fans of the Left 4 Dead franchise have been hoping that there will be a third sequel for the game. Valve have never really confirmed the game but rumors about the game being developed have been going on for some time now.
We understand that Valve might want to keep it a secret until the game is close to ready but a Valve employee might have accidentally announced the game to the world.
Tristan Reidford, a conceptual artist in Valve made a tutorial video for Destination Workshop. The video looks pretty normal but fans spotted the Left4Dead3 folder listed as his most recently accessed folder.
After people started talking about it, the part where the folder was visible was taken out and replaced with an identical screen without the folder this time around leading fans to further believe that they were onto something.
The fans even went so far as to look up Reidford’s Steam profile and realize that he had been playing a lot of Left 4 Dead 2.
Some call it an accident while others think that it was intentional. What do you think?
