It looks like Land Rover just can’t seem to find the successor for the Land Rover Defender as it has just been reported that the successor to the vehicle will only be arriving in 2019.
According to Autocar, Land Rover can’t seem to decide on a perfect successor and thus the delay. Since Land Rover plans to expand the Defender model from one model to a line-up, they will want to get the first one right.
It was initially suggested that the Land Rover Defender’s new design will be based on the DC100 concept but after the response they got when they took the covers off the concept, it looks like Land Rover will be ditching the concept and will be working on a simpler and more modern looking design instead.
Well, they have three years more to decide so what is the rush?
