Both Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy are two of the biggest gaming franchises in the world and they are owned by Square Enix. Also, it is not a secret that the game developer is currently producing both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV.
However, it seems that Kingdom Hearts 3 will only get released after Final Fantasy XV. This was confirmed by Square Enix when they announced that the team is focusing more on Final Fantasy XV. Once the latter is launched, they will then give their undivided attention to Kingdom Hearts 3.
For the Kingdom Hearts fans, they are not happy with this since it means a longer wait for them. Then again, this is already justified by Famitsu. The Japanese gaming magazine had just conducted a research on the most wanted games around and it saw Final Fantasy XV topping the charts. Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts 3 is on the sixth position, behind Persona 5.
Then again, the research was conducted on the local Japanese gaming industry. If Famitsu is to conduct a global survey, there is a chance for Kingdom Hearts 3 to be the chart topper instead of Final Fantasy XV.
