The delay is believed to occur due to the fact that Square Enix and Disney may have several disagreements on the fame, although Square Enix has come out with a statement before this that Disney does not interfere much with the direction they are taking with the game.
There is never any announcement about the delay but there is speculation after a leaked email from Amazon which says that the game will be arriving on January 2nd.
Besides that, Square Enix also reveals Disney’s request to keep the game as happy and light as possible. However, new rumors say that there might be more than that. Others think that the game developer might be doing more when they choose to add in a few more franchises into the game, including Jungle Book and Toy Story.
