About a year ago, Square Enix teased that they are hoping to release Kingdom Hearts 3 in March this year. Unfortunately, the game developer is not going to achieve its goal when they announced yesterday that development for Kingdom Hearts 3 has suffered a delay.
In detail, Square Enix claims that they need more time to produce the highly anticipated sequel as they need to integrate the newly developed Unreal 4 game engine with Kingdom Hearts 3. While the delay might sound disappointing, fans are not minding it since it is for the best of the game.
Even so, fans can still get a rough idea on when Kingdom Hearts 3 will debut. If they are to refer to Amazon, the online retailer had just listed the game on their website. Of course, the Kingdom Hearts 3 ad is nothing more than a placeholder that is pending for confirmation but it suggests that the game will get released in December this year.
To make it sound more likely, the latest rumours too are indicating that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be launched during the Christmas season this year. Then again, Square Enix has yet to share on a timeframe for Kingdom Hearts 3 so it is best to take the above with a pinch of salt.
