It is no secret that Square Enix is looking to release Final Fantasy XV ahead of Kingdom Hearts 3. However, it seems that the Kingdom Hearts community are vocal in calling the game developer to focus on Kingdom Hearts 3 first due to its bigger popularity.
Well, Kingdom Hearts fans are wrong in their claim as apparently, there is more anticipation for Final Fantasy XV than Kingdom Hearts 3. This was discovered after a Japanese gaming magazine performed a market research on the most wanted games this year.
The magazine called Famitsu shared that Final Fantasy XV tops the charts as the most wanted games around right now. To the surprise of many, Kingdom Hearts 3 sits on sixth place right behind Persona 5.
Of course, the research was conducted in the local Japanese market, which seems to be the priority for Square Enix. If the research was done on a global scale and if Square Enix drops its national pride, then there is no doubt that Kingdom Hearts 3 will get released first.
