Square Enix has already confirmed that they are currently producing Kingdom Hearts 3 and the game is said to be much bigger and more epic than its predecessor.
This is partly due to the fact that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the first title from the franchise to debut on the new Xbox One and PS4. Both next-generation consoles are packed with revolutionary gaming hardwares that allow Square Enix to enlarge Kingdom Hearts 3’s offerings.
Well, the game’s producer, Tetsuya Nomura, aims to do just that through confirming that there will be new worlds as well as old worlds returning to Kingdom Hearts 3. Unfortunately, no names were confirmed although Tetsuya did express his desire for the likes of Darth Vader and the Avengers to feature in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Both characters are from the Star Wars franchise and the Marvel franchise respectively but they have been bought over by Disney. While the latter might be working together with Square Enix to produce Kingdom Hearts 3, Tetsuya revealed that he have to seek the approval first before being able to add any new faces from Disney.
Aside from characters, Kingdom Hearts 3 looks to be the toughest game in the franchise’s history. Tetsuya claims that he puts himself in the shoes of Master Xehanort. That way, Tetsuya has one single goal and it is to make the game as difficult as possible for the players.
