The game director quoted in an interview, “According to suggestions from the planning side, it’ll likely be used as some sort of gimmick. The Keyblade has infinite [possibilities].”
As for the game’s progress, the voice recording is expected to be dealt and done with this summer. If so, then Kingdom Hearts 3 will definitely be released in 2015. On the other hand, some fans felt that Square Enix won’t rush the development and Kingdom Hearts 3 will come in 2016.
Tetsuya agreed to this and once revealed that the earliest Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available is 2015. Nevertheless, the game has so much to offer with some rumour even revealing that there will be armed vehicles for Sora and the gang to ride on.
