Let’s face it. Nobody has got clue on how Kingdom Hearts 3 will be like except for the chaps that are developing it. If you are to follow the Kingdom Hearts 3 buzz, all the talks have been about Marvel Heroes and Star Wars characters coming to the game.
However, I don’t think that The Avengers is going to really follow Sora around in the fight against Master Xehanort. I also think that Darth Vader won’t be aiding the main antagonist in the series.
This is because both worlds are really overpowered if they are to step in the realm of Kingdom Hearts and I’m pretty sure that Square Enix feels the same way. The only logical way to introduce Marvel and Star Wars is through having The Avengers appearing in a side quest and Darth Vader being a secret boss.
Perhaps, completing the missions will have its rewards. Maybe, the fight against Darth Vader can allow the Keyblade to transform into lightsabers.
Meanwhile, completing The Avengers mission can give see the main characters getting the tools from Marvel. For example, Mickey might receive Iron Man’s suit and Goofy can wield Captain America’s shield. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
Of course, the above are just my expectations for the game. Regardless of how Kingdom Hearts 3 turns out to be, I trust Square Enix to deliver a great sequel ahead. What do you think?
