The fans are all aware of that but some wondered on the possibility of it since there might be BBS Volume 2 coming in the future. If so, how will it play since Xenahort is no longer around?
It seems that there won’t even be a Kingdom Hearts BBS Volume 2. If there is , Nomura revealed it to be nothing more than a short story. Nomura also quoted that there will be no chance for BBS Volume 2 to be created.
It seems that the filler arc has been ceased following the release of Kingdom Hearts 3D. If there is going to be a new Kingdom Hearts title coming after Kingdom Hearts 3, it will be Kingdom Hearts 4. The future fourth sequel will be the perfect game to introduce a new villain and start on a new arc.
Then again, a BBS Volume 2 is still possible if Kingdom Hearts 3 fails to introduce a new antagonist. We can only tell once Kingdom Hearts 3 is out and played.
