Square Enix once said that Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be different from any of its predecessors. The game developer has confirmed that the upcoming title is going to have a more mature storyline, since most of the players have grown up to be adults.
With that being said, there is a lot of expectation for death to occur in Kingdom Hearts 3. After all, the game will be hosting the great final battle between Xehanort and Sora, and it will simply be anti-climactic if there is no death involving the good characters.
Of course, Square Enix has yet to share any details on this front but many are expecting death to hit one of the three Wayfinders. In detail, there is a high chance for Terra to get killed in action. The character is often possessed throughout the series and perhaps, he will lose his grip and force Sora to end his life once and for all.
Speaking of which, Sora too could get killed when fighting in the final battle. However, the protagonist will be revived by a divine entity in the game, together with the knowledge on how to defeat Lord Xehanort.
Then again, there is no certainty on who will die in Kingdom Hearts 3. Nevertheless, fans can expect it to occur in the upcoming sequel.
