Disney has held the D23 Expo Japan 2015 and just before it the Kingdom Hearts fan event was held. This means that we have heard information about Kingdom Hearts 3 and some of the characters have been outed.
There have been rumours about a multiplayer mode of Kingdom Hearts 3 coming with the game. This came about after the designer from Square Enix talked about the fact that he was responsible for the multiplayer planning and documentation of the game on his profile on LinkedIn.
We have heard that new characters will be coming to Kingdom Hearts 3 but nothing has been confirmed right now by the game director.
Of course new games coming to Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn’t mean that the game is going to be given a multiplayer mode. For now you should take this with a grain of salt and wait to hear from the developer.
