Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently in development and when it gets released, the title will no doubt be a massive and thoroughly awesome game. Things are surely exciting for fans of the Kingdom Hearts series with rumours linking the likes of Star Wars and Marvel to feature in the upcoming title.
Well, there are actually some cons to that. Throughout the Kingdom Hearts series, things have been fairly balanced in terms of the worlds that are introduced in the franchise. In other words, there is some sort of leverage when it comes to the number of Disney worlds and Final Fantasy worlds.
In Kingdom Hearts 3, there is a huge fear for the balance to get disrupted. With more and more Final Fantasy characters being killed off, there will be tons of Disney characters shaping Kingdom Hearts 3. Also, everybody knows that Disney don’t allow for its characters to get killed in the series.
Judging by the looks of it, it seems that Kingdom Hearts 3 will not stick to tradition where Final Fantasy characters and Disney characters work together to accomplish a goal. Instead, it will be all about Star Wars, Marvel and the others stealing the spotlight with their popularity.
While this may sound disappointing, it won’t sway us from not anticipating Kingdom Hearts 3. However the game will turn out to be, we trust Square Enix to deliver a great sequel ahead.
