The Kia Rio was given a mild refresh not too long ago but Kia has no plans to slow things down as they work on the successor for the Kia Rio.
The Kia Rio prototype was spotted by spies when it was getting tested. Looking at the spies shots, it looks like the new Kia Rio will come in with a more matured looking this time around. The size seems to be the same.
There is still not details on what engine they will be using to power up the Kia Rio but some believe that we might see the Kia Rio come in with a 1.6 liter GDI inline-four gasoline engine. The Europe version gets the same engine as before but upgraded.
Kia did not announce when exactly the Kia Rio will be release but it is believed that we will see the Kia Rio make its debut at the end of the year or maybe in the start of 2017.
