FCA will be issuing a recall to recall back the Jeep Wrangler. According to the report, the steering wheel airbag might not deploy properly in the event of a crash.
A total of 392,464 Jeep Wrangler will be affected by the recall. The affected model will be the 2007-2010 models. FCA explained that the excessive accumulation of dust and dirt during off-road drive might affect the clockspring in the steering wheel assembly and because of that , the airbag might not deploy in a crash.
Those affected will need to bring their Jeep Wranglers back to the dealers so that they can fix on a new back cover and column shrouds. Besides recalling the Jeep Wrangler, FCA also issues another recall to recall back the Fiat 500.
39,217 unit will be recalled. The affected model will be the 2012-2016 models. According to FCA, the Fiats clutch might exceed design parameters and might damage the components in time. Owners should be hearing from FCA soon.
