FCA will be issuing three new safety campaign to recall their Ram 1500 and Jeep Cherokee over similar issues.
The first safety campaign will affect a total of 99uits of the Ram 1500 trucks that were made from the 19th of February to the 3rd of March. According to the report, the front half shaft which was manufactured incorrectly might fracture which could increase the risk of a crash happening.
The second safety campaign will affect 52units of the Jeep Cherokee that were made from the 30th of September until the 2nd of September 2015. The third safety campaign will affect 1029units of Jeep Cherokee that were made from the 3rd of October until the 22nd of March.
In both these campaign, it is said that the half shaft might disconnect from eh drive axles which could lead to a fracture although the former campaign will focus on the left half shaft while the latter will focus on the right half shaft only.
