A couple of months ago, jailbreak developer confirmed that they won’t be producing an untethered iOS 7.1.2 but instead, prefers to anticipate the iOS 8. Well, the latter has just been released earlier this month and up until today, there is still no jailbreak produced.
Evad3rs revealed that the iOS 8 comes with some new security features that requires more time for them to crack it open. The team of hackers also announced that they have already uncovered several exploits and it will be the main access for the iOS 8 jailbreak.
Unfortunately, Evad3rs gave out an ETA that is quite some time away from now. In specific, the jailbreakers said that it will take at least three months before they are able to produce the iOS 8 jailbreak.
Meanwhile, iOS 8 users can install third party apps to access some jailbreak contents, without jailbreaking. Apps like SNES console, free movies and series are all available on the App Store.
