Every new generation of the Apple iOS has its own set of issues when it gets released. The latest iOS 8 is no different and it has forced Apple to develop a patch that will tackle the bugs and security loopholes on the system.
The patch will be released later this week and it will update the iPhones to the latest iOS 8.1.1. Apple revealed that the new firmware will prevent any further exploitation from Pangu. In other words, iOS 8.1.1 is built to prevent users from jailbreaking the iPhone with Pangu.
Aside from that, Apple confirmed that the patch also helps improve the performance on the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Prior to this, there has been many complains on the iOS 8, offering a lacklustre performance when running on the aforementioned devices.
Then again, Apple didn’t share the full details on what is coming with the IOS 8.1.1. However, we can expect that to be announced when the Cupertino-based company rolls out the update.
