Last November saw the release of the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The former, in particular, is the direct successor to the iPhone 5S. Also, there has yet to be a successor to the iPhone 5C.
Many thought that the poor sales of the iPhone 5C have forced the ‘budget’ smartphone into retirement. As such, Apple has not produced an iPhone 6C.
Today however, rumours are indicating that there will be an iPhone 6C coming and it will be arriving somewhere in June. The iPhone 6C is going to be Apple’s mid-tier smartphone for this year when released.
The iPhone 6C will be coming with a polycarbonate case and some upgrades to its specs. The device will also come with more colour options for the consumers to choose from.
Of course, the rumours lack anything concrete to back up their claim so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. With WWDC already a couple of months away, we don’t think that the iPhone 6C is going to happen.
