Both the Apple iPhone 6 and the Sony Xperia Z3 are without a doubt two of the best smartphones from 2014. Furthermore, they are hugely popular among the consumers worldwide. However, which of the two has more to offer?
There is no need to compare the styling of the iPhone 6 and the Sony Xperia Z3 as they both offer a design that is spectacular. In terms of display, the iPhone 6 sports a 4.7” screen that runs on 750x1334p resolution, thus, emitting 326ppi. The Z3, on the other hand, has a 4.6” display that runs on 750x1280p resolution that develops 219ppi. Surely, the iPhone 6 is sharper than the Z3.
Underneath the casing, the Z3 is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor whereas the iPhone 6 runs on a 1.4GHz Apple A8 processor. On various benchmark test, the Z3 achieved better results but the iPhone 6 offers unrivalled hardware-system integration.
In terms of photography, the Z3 features a 20.7MP rear camera just like the Z2 but it has been further tweaked to take pictures like a professional camera. Clearly, there is no way for the iPhone 6’s 8MP rear shooter to challenge this. The Z3 also has a 2.2MP front camera while the iPhone 6 has a decent 1.2MP front shooter.
It is definitely difficult to name a winner in this contest as the differences between the two devices are narrow. As such, we have decided to leave it with user’s preferences. If you prefer the iOS platform, get the iPhone 6. Otherwise, the Z3 will be the ideal device.
