Forget iPhone 6, Apple iWatch Gets It’s First Awesome Visualization!

Sundar Pichai recently announced a software development kit for Android wearables is coming out and designer Thomas Moyano has gone ahead and show off his concept of the iWatch that has fans anticipating an Apple release.

Moyano said that his inspiration comes from the ability to be able to do more with a wearable device. Apple is said to be keen on the idea of making an iWatch that focuses on fitness. Moyano said that the concept he came up with takes away the holes and buttons from a water and dust resistant design.

To save the battery life cellular data is not included in the iWatch concept, but wireless charging is included. He said that before going ahead and creating a concept idea he asks himself how could it improve the way we live and make everyday life better.

He went on to say that by taking away physical buttons, microphones and speakers on the device a solid, compact and submergible wearable device could be made. This also made room for sensors that are able to track the movement and health of the wearer.

Instead of hearing sounds for notifications they are felt by way of vibrations, which are more effective when going outside into a noisy environment.

The watch should be able to last throughout the day, but as it is such a small device it is not easy to give it enough battery power. This is where solar charging comes into play as the sun is the power source. Solar panels under the screen will act charge from sunlight.

With no cellular connection there can be no Siri, which is a disappointment. However often Siri has trouble understanding what you say to it and so it may not be missed on the watch, which is typically used in a noisy environment.

Maps can be downloaded to the watch so they would not need a connection and they could still be used. View the full gallery here.
