Now, rumours are saying that the iPhone 6 will be featuring NFC. As we all know, NFC is a type of connectivity that is growing in popularity. This is due to consumers, being able to perform monetary transactions or payments by tapping their NFC-activated device.
While it all sounds great, Apple is known to avoid using such a feature. NFC isn’t something new and most Android smartphones are equipped with it. For years, Apple has tried to avoid introducing the system to its iPhone and promoted iBeacon instead.
The battle against mainstream methods turns out to be a loss in Apple’s eyes. With the NFC, consumers that have been relying on the system can now opt for an iPhone.
