We have heard rumours going around that Apple will make some big changes when they launch the iPhone 6 this year along with iOS 8. Over on Reddit fans have been talking about what they think Apple might do this year, along with what they hope to see with the new iPhone and what they don’t want to see.
It does seem as though fans of Apple don’t mind how thin the new iPhone is, but they would like to see Apple make some improvements to the battery life of the handset. Fans have said that Apples 10 hour estimation isn’t anywhere close to what the device actually offers, even if owners of the handset use tips and tricks and they restrict use of the handset.
Over at the forum they said that while a thin iPhone would be easier when it comes to holding the handset in one hand, they would not like to see too big an iPhone and they don’t want an iPhone in the phablet category. It seems that most fans would like to see an iPhone with 3.8 inches to 4.3 inches display. On the other hand it was said that if the iPhone came with a larger display it could entice the older generation towards the iPhone, which would boost sales for Apple.
Fans don’t want iOS 8 to come stuffed with features that are not going to be useful. They want iOS to be more enjoyable to use than Android, which some people believe is always rushed and looks cheap. They are in agreement that the next version of iOS and the handset should be cutting edge.
Some fans have said that they would like to see a stylus on the iPhone, along with this they want more options for the camera, along with more accessories, NFC, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi calling and themes. They don’t seem to be interested in such as LED notification, a swappable battery or the option to be able to record in 4k.
