Jailbreak deity Evad3rs has confirmed that the iOS 8.1jailbreak will only be ready early next year. However, iPhone 6 jailbreak fans can already skip the wait as a jailbreak called Pangu is already created through another developer in the industry.
Yesterday, Cydia App Store founder, Jay Freeman, revealed that Pangu 1.2.1 Jailbreak, together with Cydia 1.1.16 update, are now stable for installation. The lad made the announcement on his Twitter account and called for Cydia app developers to mark their product as iOS 8 compatible.
This is also the news which jailbreak fans that are stuck on the iOS 7.1.2 have been waiting for. They can now escape through updating to the iOS 8.1 and applying Pangu 1.2.1 Jailbreak.
On the other hand, Pangu is quite a new name in the scene which left jailbreakers that are loyal to Evad3rs viewing this with scrutiny. Even today, Evad3rs has yet to give a feedback on the iOS 8.1 jailbreak from Pangu.
Nevertheless, iPhone users on the iOS 8.1 should go ahead and perform the jailbreak. If Cydia says it is safe, then safe it is.
